– Star Emilio Estevez, for the first time, is set to become a grandfather.
Taylor Estevez, the star’s son of “The Breakfast Club” is planning to welcome his first child with his partner, and the child may very well share the same birthday as the 34-year-old stunt coordinator.
“My son and his wife, they’re due in June and in fact the delivery date that they’re talking about is the same date as my son’s birthday, which is June 22nd,” Emilio shared on “Live with Kelly & Ryan” morning show in the U.S..
“It’ll be my first grandchild, so it’ll be pretty cool.”
The brother of Charlie Sheen, though, has made it very clear that he would not offer to assist with diaper duty.
He chuckled, swearing off the dirty assignment, “I do not want to look into the inside of a diaper. That’s just not in my future!”
With his ex, model Carey Salley, who is also the mother of his singer daughter Paloma, Taylor is the eldest child of the actor.
Emilio hired both of his children to work on his latest movie, “The Public” produced and directed by the 56-year-old – and starred in it.
During one violent sequence, Taylor used his technical background as a stuntman to step in for his dad, and Emilio is grateful that he didn’t have to suffer the blow.
“There’s a scene in the film where I get attacked, and so my son was the stunt double for me…,” he said, “and if you take a quick look at that (scene), there’s no padding on the floor, so there’s the old saying, ‘Better him than me’, and of course, he was limping around for a couple days!”
By playing on the soundtrack, Taylor’s sister even contributed to the new project of her moviemaker parent.
‘She is a percussionist,’ explained Emilio. “She’s a bada** rock and roll drummer, and she’s in three different bands… She’s rad.”
On Friday, April 05, “The Public” featuring a gang of vagrants who seize over a small library during a winter storm, premiered in U.S. theaters.
