Educational Background
Emilia Asim-Ita attended Methodist Girl High School, Yaba.
In 2008, she obtained a degree in Mass Communication from the University of Lagos. She obtained a masters degree in Mass Communications from the university.
Career
Emilia Asim-Ita alongside Chude Jideonwo and Debola Williams founded the Future Project in 2005. She was the Public Relations and Marketing Director for The Future Project, The Future Awards and REDSTRAT Communication.
She was a communications director for 3AL, a retail company and e-commerce website.
Emilia Asim-Ita was a consultant with Thistle Praxis Consulting between 2010 and 2018
Emilia Asim-Ita was a volunteer for Global Shapers, a network of inspiring youths under the age of 30 working to address regional and global challenges.
She founded her own media and content creation company AML in 2010.
She was a presenter for a book review program, “Mind Your Grammar” and on “Youth Talk with Emilia” on NTA Network Service for five years.
