The cause of the young couple’s loss of control of the automobile is unknown.

Although the Fiat is thought to have collided with a guard rail on the opposite side of the road before being slammed into by an oncoming vehicle.

However, they fatally lost control of the vehicle and drove into oncoming traffic, colliding with a Volkswagen Golf.

Mattiuzzo and her boyfriend Daniele Volanti are alleged to have died ‘instantly,’ while a 19-year-old VW driver was hurt but is not in danger of losing his life.

A third vehicle was believed to have been involved in the collision, although the driver was unhurt.

They enjoyed being with their friends and family, Sadly, they have left their loved ones behind. Their families are shattered and heartbroken after the great loss of their young children.
