Subject Combination / JAMB UTME Requirements

In UTME, please note that English Language is Compulsory for this course. Therefore, the three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combination needed to study Education and Islamic Studies under the Faculty of Education in the above Universities include;

Islamic Studies/Arabic and two (2) other Social Science or Arts subjects.

 

O’Level Requirements

The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study Education and Islamic Studies;

You require;

Five (5) SSC credit passes including English Language, Islamic Studies and three (3) other relevant subjects.

SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS

(viii) SRCOE requires ‘O’ Level credit pass in Arabic.

Direct Entry Requirements

These are the conditions you need to fulfill to gain Direct Entry admission to study Education and Islamic Studies, if you don’t intend to use UTME.

You require;

(i) NCE merit in Islamic Studies and Education.
 
(ii) ‘A’ Level passes in Arabic/ Islamic Studies and any other relevant subject.

SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS

(iii) FCEZARIA requires three (3) NCE/’A’ Level passes including Islamic Studies. Admission is by Direct Entry only.   Also requires credit passes in English Language and four (4) other subjects which should include Islamic studies and a credit pass in Mathematics.   Accepts NCE in Islamic Studies combination with any other subject with ‘C’ grade including Education.

(viii) SRCOE; candidates must obtain not less than eight (8) points in NCE.
