Ed Laskos Biography

Ed Laskos is an American Emmy award-winning reporter for FOX 11. He is a featured reporter and fill-in anchor for the FOX 11 News at 5 and 10 o’clock. Laskos has done television reporting for 3 decades.

After graduating high school, Laskos answered the call to broadcasting. He started out in radio and soon afterward he joined television. Laskos has covered breaking news on the streets of such fast-paced cities as Washington DC, Houston, Boston, Orlando and Providence.

Laskos became known for his various catch-phrases, from “cuff’em and stuff’em” referring to an arrest, to ending each live report saying, “Back to West LA we go.”

He has earned several Emmy Awards and numerous Emmy nominations along with several Golden Mike Awards from the LA Press Club. His professional recognition comes from the unique style Laskos developed early in his career.
