Ed Helms College
Ed Helms attended the Interlochen Center for the Arts in his adolescence and graduated from The Westminster Schools in 1992, one year after Brian Baumgartner from The Office, another cast member. He first chose geology as his major but then switched to film theory and technology, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree from Oberlin College in 1996.
He also attended a semester at the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University as a part of an exchange program. He turned down a summer internship with Late Night with Conan O’Brien while still in college since he had already agreed to one with WNBC’s press and publicity department.
