Adam Schefter Is Blessed With A Daughter Named Dylan Schefter

Adam Schefter is the proud father of a girl called Dylan Schefter. Dylan, who was born in 2007/2008, is currently 14 years old.

The sportswriter’s daughter graduated from the University of Michigan. Schefter opted to further her education by enrolling at the University of Michigan. She went to the EPSYs — the “Excellence in Sports Performance” biennial awards ceremony — in 2017, expecting nothing more than a nice experience.

Adam was asked whether she wanted to interview players on the red carpet by a colleague.

Adam’s daughter stated that she was eager to participate because it was something new for her at age 7 or 8.

That night, Dylan interviewed current Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady as well as Patriots head coach Bill Belichick and even managed to get Belichick to grin and chuckle on camera. She wowed the Patriots so much that she was given another interview.

Her interest in sports broadcasting has grown into a part-time career. Dylan returned to the 2018 ESPYs to interview players such as Odell Beckham Jr. and Steph Curry and worked as a correspondent for the New York Jets in 2019.

She has her own weekly segment, “Dylan’s Sweet Corner,” on Fox Sports in 2020.

Dylan Schefter, Adam Schefter’s Daughter Is A Teen Interviewer

Dylan Schefter is now a teen journalist on Nickelodeon’s “Nick-ified Slimelights; the “Best Play Ever,” highlighting the week’s top plays.

The half-hour series will show on Nickelodeon on Wednesdays at 7 p.m. (ET/PT). It will last through the end of the current footfall season on February 15, 2023. The teen interviewer noted that in this part, she gets to do what she does best: bring her vibrant personality to the table.

Dylan’s favorite part of the show was getting to know players on a human level as well as interviewing them about their sport. One of her most notable interviews was with Evan McPherson. Dylan saw he was “tired” or “having a rough day,” so she tailored her queries accordingly.

Evan later mentioned her in a playoff interview. She stated that, in turn, her family’s support had enabled her to feel at ease being a child while still working as a journalist.

Her mother, Sharri, assists her in filming pieces in their Long Island home on the North Shore every Monday afternoon when she comes from school. Due to COVID laws, the two set everything themselves when Dylan initially started on the show.

Adam’s daughter now has a crew that comes to her house to assist with lighting, cosmetics, and sound. The sportswriter may occasionally phone her ahead of time to assist her in preparing for an interview.

She told Patch that she enjoys working from home because it allows her to juggle education and spend time with family and friends. Her mother expressed gratitude to Patch for the opportunity to work with Dylan and see her develop.

She stated that she plans to make sports broadcasting her full-time job in the future. The father-daughter duo has previously collaborated, such as during her first NFL live interview and countless advertisements.
