The notorious duck sauce killer, accused of shooting a restaurant deliveryman, was discovered dead in his Queens home early on Friday after seemingly committing suicide, according to his attorney.
According to law-enforcement authorities who spoke to The Post, Glenn Hirsch, 51, shot himself before a morning court appearance on Friday while he was out on bail.

Duck Sauce Killer Glenn Hirsch Death Cause
Detectives were called to Glenn Hirsch’s home after the suspect skipped a court date on Friday, and they discovered his dead inside, according to a police official. An autopsy will determine Hirsch’s cause of death, the official said.
According to Hirsch’s new attorney, Arthur Aidala, the alleged murderer shot himself. Aidala claimed that despite speaking with Hirsch two days prior, he and his client missed each other’s calls yesterday.
Hirsch failed to appear in court on Friday, so the judge sent the local sheriff’s office to check on him at his Jamaica apartment on 141st St. He has been on the lam since June, his whereabouts being tracked by an ankle tag.
When Zhiwen Yan, 45, was murdered in Forest Hills on April 30, he was first ordered held without bail.
However, on June 8, Queens Criminal Court Judge Kenneth Holder modified the bail requirements and put the bond amount at $500,000. Hirsch paid the large payment and was let go with firm instructions to remain at home.
Queens NY: Did Glenn Hirsch Commit Suicide Or Was Murdered?
As per reports, Glenn Hirsch has committed suicide. The family of Yan is in “horror” at his suicide, according to Jennifer Wu, the family’s pro bono lawyer, who spoke to The Post.
The Queens resident claimed Yan, who worked as a delivery man there, shorted him on duck sauce for an order placed last year, which led to an ongoing dispute between the two parties.
Hirsch allegedly destroyed the owner’s car and came up at the business with a gun in January, according to the restaurant owner, who said Hirsch had harassed him and his staff on numerous occasions. The waiters at the restaurant remember him asking, “Do you remember me?”
A senior police source told The Post in June that detectives discovered a sizable supply of condiments inside the man’s refrigerator, which was also “packed with duck sauce.”
Police claim that surveillance video shows Yan driving about Great Wall in his automobile hours before he was fatally shot before following the delivery man to his subsequent food delivery. Yan suffered a chest wound and was found bleeding on the street.
What Happened To Glenn Hirsch?
Hirsch, 51, was apprehended on June 2 on suspicion of killing Yan after following the delivery driver and other employees of the Great Wall Restaurant for weeks over Yan’s demand for extra duck sauce during a previous visit to the establishment.
The strange beef was referred to as an “obsessive bone of conflict” by the Queens DA.
According to the police, Hirsch repeatedly circled the restaurant’s neighborhood the night of the murder. He allegedly followed Yan as he departed on a scooter to make a delivery before fatally shooting him in the street.
