After working as an intern at Loma Linda University, Berman began working as an otolaryngologist in 1983. In October 1983, Dr. Mark earned a board of certification as a diplomate of the American Board of Otolaryngology. An otolaryngologist is a head and neck surgeon. Additionally, Mark had been the Managing director at White Memorial Medical Center, CA, and Loma Linda University from 1980 to 1982.
