Early Life

Destenee McKenzie was born on March 12, 1991 in Boston, Massachusetts. She is the daughter of the former beauty queen and Panamanian native Noemi Torres.

A classically self-trained pianist, McKenzie began playing piano at the age of 4 and producing by the age of 11. She also trained in tap dancing and gymnastics. McKenzie began training and recording vocals with Margo Thunder lead singer of the R&B group 9.9.  This lead her to begin producing and recording her own songs using Fruity Loops.  Her mother supported her ambitions as a performer and moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in music.
Jonathan Widran of Music Connection Magazine noted Dovley for having a vocal range similar to that of Mariah Carey with a melismatic singing style capable of reaching a five-octave range.

Dovley performed at the Urban Music Conference where she met Adil Bayyan.  Bayyan introduced her to George Brown from Kool and The Gang and Nasri Atweh from Magic!.  George Brown has since mentored Dovley with her musicianship.

Career

2014–2018: Debut

McKenzie was briefly a member of Cee Lo Green’s all-female band, which toured promoting the release of the Twilight. Later utilizing her skills in music production, sound engineering, and as a vocalist, her single “Illuminate” scored a #2 spot on the Billboard dance single sales charts, #4 spot on the hot 100 sales charts, and making her the first female artist to single-handedly write, produce, sing, mix, and master a track that broke into the top ten on the sales charts at the tail end of 2013. She then hosted her own nationally syndicated radio show, Destenee’s EDM Power Hour in 2014.

In 2017, McKenzie began her career as a TV producer and personality by creating her own reality show Fashion Dolls that was distributed by the Fashion One network and garnered over 400 million viewers in 170 countries worldwide. Following her TV debut, she signed on to executive produce and star in her own sitcom titled, Festival Season.

Clarence Clemons’s net worth, biography, fact, career, awards and life story

Clarence Clemons net worth: Clarence Clemons was an American musician who had a net worth of $20 million at the time of his death in 2011. But it wasn’t his net worth that made him so admired among his many peers in the music industry, and fans. He was most known for his artistic relationship with rock legend Bruce Springsteen, serving as the sax player for Springsteen’s E-Street Band for many years, having first met Springsteen in 1971. The story of how they met, perhaps too legendary to be justly recounted here, was immortalized in the song “Tenth Avenue Freeze Out” on Bruce’s 1975 album Born to Run. Apart from his work with Bruce Springsteen and company, Clarence Clemons also had a solo career in music. Among the most well known of these solo projects is his duet with country star Jackson Browne, called “You’re a Friend of Mine,” and his work as a sax player for Aretha Franklin’s hit song “Freeway of Love.” He also collaborated with musical acts such as The Grateful Dead and Lady GaGa, having shot a music video with the latter mere days before his death of a stroke. He also had something of a second career as an actor, appearing on TV series such as the HBO crime drama The Wire, and more.
