Dorian Zev Kweller, the 16-year-old son of singer-songwriter Ben Kweller, passed away on Monday, the musician said. Dorian died in an automobile accident, Kweller’s wife Liz stated in a social media post. As a budding musician, Dorian recorded and published many songs under the moniker Zev.

His parents and younger brother Judah have both survived Dorian. The singles “SH3,” “How I Am,” “4th of July,” and “Parachute,” among others, were all produced by him under the alias Zev. Kweller has six solo albums to his credit and has worked with artists like Ed Sheeran and the Foo Fighters. He was also a member of the post-grunge band Radish and the rock supergroup the Bens.
