Don Lemon was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, on March 1st, 1966. He studied broadcast journalism at Louisiana State University and graduated.
Early in the 1990s, he started a career in journalism, working for regional stations in Pennsylvania and Alabama before relocating to New York City to work for NBC and then CNN.
In December 2022, Lemon and co-anchors Collins and Harlow got into an on-air disagreement about the wage disparity in women’s sports.
People “are more interested in the men,” according to Lemon. He said that because he had grown up as the sole guy in a home of entire women, he couldn’t be sexist.
Lemon claimed that Nikki Haley “isn’t in her prime” and that a woman is “considered to be in her prime in her 20s, 30s, and maybe 40s” on February 19, 2023, following Haley’s declaration of her presidential candidacy.
