In the album named “Hope” by Blood Orange, Diddy reportedly came clean about his sexuality. At the end of the song, Diddy said, “Sometimes I ask myself, like / You know, what is it going to take for me not to be afraid.” as two guys were seen hugging each other as they’re walking with a group of others.
“To be loved the way, like, I really wanna be loved? / But that I know how I really wanna be loved / But I’m, but I’m, like, scared to really, really feel that / You know, it’s like you want something / But you don’t know if you can handle it,” continued the music entrepreneur. “Maybe one day I’ll get over my fears and I’ll receive.”
As Diddy obviously had his severe moment in the studio alluding to his sexuality, Tyler, the Producer, and A$AP Rocky were seen in the background goofing around. Years earlier, Tyler came out of the closet, though Blood Orange came out in 2018 as sexually fluid. Over the years, A$AP has often been troubled with gay allegations, but he maintained that he remained straight.
As the internet debates about the sexuality of Diddy heated up, a 2017 video showing an intoxicated Diddy calling another guy “daddy” resurfaced. In comparison, the maker of Bad Boy Records insisted during the interview that he “never really” had a group with Fabolous. “We partied for my birthday before. Meanwhile, in 2009, rapper Xzibit remembered the one time Diddy had introduced him to a gay party. When he learned what kind of club it was, he was so surprised that he took off instantly. “We leave the club directly. I didn’t say peace to nobody. It was suspect,” he said.
Diddy himself confessed to sleeping with Usher once unwittingly.
