Serhiy Perebyinis, a Ukrainian father, found out that his family was murdered by the Russian troops, while they were trying to escape outside Kyiv via a viral Twitter picture.
Tatiana, her son Mykyta, 18, and her daughter Alisa, 9, were lying dead across the pavement in the picture.
The family drove as far as possible and attempted to cross a bridge on foot while their father stayed back to look after his sick mother.
In a recent interview with The New York Times, he revealed his last conversation with his wife where he said, “I tried to care for one person, and it meant I cannot protect you,”
And “Don’t worry, I will get out.’ ” she replied.
The world is haunted as well as heartbroken by the dreadful incident, and now many are willing to learn about the family, including the living father.

Tatiana, the lady who got slaughtered with her kids while evacuating her hometown, was a 43-year-old IT worker from Kyiv.
She was on her way to flee outside Kyiv with her children after the Russian troops started shelling residential buildings.

Addressing Tatiana and her family, Zelensky said, “We will punish everyone who committed atrocities in this war. On our land. We will find every b*****d. Which shot at our cities, our people. Which bombed our land. Which launched rockets. Which gave the order and pressed ‘start,’” he said. “There will be no quiet place on this Earth for you. Except for the grave.”

The 43-year-old working mother and her two children were accompanied by a church volunteer who also got killed then and there.
In the same interview with The New York Times, Serhiy shared that his son was under a lot of stress due to the Russian invasion.
And when his family was on their way, Serhiy from his house was monitoring their location on his cellphone.
But he grew impatient when the location was tracked to a Kyiv hospital. No one was picking up his call, and the next moment he saw his dead family on Twitter.
