After being found unconscious on the floor of a friend’s home in San Diego, Denise Russo, who rose to fame from the VH1 reality series The X-Life, died on Sunday at the age of 44.
According to TMZ, drug paraphernalia was reportedly found at the location. Despite their best efforts, the first responders were eventually unsuccessful in bringing her back to life, and she was later pronounced dead.
Although the San Diego police are now investigating the deceased, the precise cause of death is still unknown.
Russo’s lone noteworthy accomplishment is that she was a part of one of the three couples on The X-2011 Life’s season on VH1. Participants in extreme sports and their partners’ lives were observed.
At the time, Russo was dating professional skateboarder Pierre-Luc Gagnon. After having a kid together, they divorced.
On her Instagram feed, she posted pictures of her and her son. She claimed in one of her blogs that she was a competitor for the Inked Magazine cover.
