David West is an American professional basketball player who currently plays for the Golden State Warriors. He currently has a net worth of $35 million.
David West was a member of the Xavier University’s basketball team. He was named as 2003 Associated Press and United States Basketball Writers Association National Player of the Year. Also, he was recognized as Atlantic 10 Conference Player of the year three years in a row and selected as Lowe Senior Class Award winner for being one of the best players in the country.
When he entered the NBA Draft in 2003, West signed a contract with the New Orleans Hornets. He was two-time NBA All-Star in 2008 and 2009. He stayed with the team until 2011 when he became a free agent.
Upon leaving the Hornets, he transferred to Indiana Pacers in 2011 with a two-year contract for the team. In the year 2016, he signed with the Golden State Warriors.
