We got to see the case of former FBI agent Scott Horn and his mysterious death.
Dateline – Where Is Scott Horn Wife Anne Allen Now?
Apparently, Dateline featured FBI agent Scott Horn wife Anne Allen still lives in Laurel, Maryland now.
It is the same city where Scott was found lifeless outside his house. Though Anne was arrested and later acquitted for the murder of her spouse, she didn’t leave Laurel.
Around the time when Scott Horn was murdered, the FBI officer was reportedly going through a messy divorce with Allen. As a fact, the former couple even had a history of domestic violence and protective orders.
However, when Allen was inquired by the police, she claimed that things were getting smoother between the two. This later turned out to be a lie as Anne was found having an affair with another man named Jason Byrd.
Both Byrd and Allen were charged with the murder of Scott Horn in July 2017. The investigator suspected that they intended to kill the agent for his life insurance payout and his rental properties.
But, the charges were later dropped because the available evidence against the suspects was circumstantial. Nevertheless, Allen had to spend 18 months in prison prior to her trial.
Update on Scott Horn Daughter Kelly and Family
Scott Horn daughter Kelly is now a professional veterinary technician in Laurel.
The two shared a very deep bond with each other. As a fact, Kelly was the first person to notice her father’s disappearance.
In 2017, 18 years old Kelly had just moved out of her house. And, Scott used to call his daughter every morning to wake her. However, the officer didn’t contact her the day of disappearance and she eventually reported the police
Likewise, Scott Horn another family member, soon, was the one to find his dead body.
Horn was reportedly discovered with traps besides woodpile. Likewise, he was also bleeding from his neck.
Scott Horn Murder – What Happened?
To this day, it is still not clear who was/ were involved in the Scott Horn murder.
The police alleged that many people may have the intention to kill Horn. He was a landlord known for evicting his tenants.
Likewise, he supposedly used to carry large amounts of rent payments. So, there are suspicions that Horn might have been murdered for robbery as well.
Nothing can be proved as no DNA evidence were found at the scene. The case to this day remains unsolved.
