Welbeck began playing by the age of 6 and that is when he was first spotted by Manchester United. He impressed Fletcher Moss, his local team at the age of 8, and was picked by the Manchester United youth academy. During the 2005-06 season, Welbeck finally joined United and made his debut on the club’s U 18 team on 8 April 2006 in a league match against Sunderland. He played a second match before becoming an unused substitute in the team’s last two matches of the season.

For his next season at United, he made a further 28 appearances for the U 18s and scored nine goals, including eight appearances and one goal in the FA Youth Cup, in which he helped the team to reach the final, despite being two years younger than some of the other players. In July 2007, Welbeck signed his first trainee contract with the U 18 team for the 2007/08 season before being promoted to the reserve team, making a number of substitute appearances. He received a call-up to the first team in January 2008 for a trip to Saudi Arabia to play Al-Hilal in Sami Al-Jaber’s testimonial match. He made his debut in that match on 21 January 2008, coming on as a 65th-minute substitute for Anderson.

During the 2007-08 season, he joined the first-team squad partway with his competitive debut coming on  23 September 2008 in the team’s start upfront in a 3–1 home win against Middlesbrough in the League Cup Third Round. He made his Premier League debut on 15 November 2008, as a substitute for Park Ji-sung against Stoke City. His first goal for the 2009–10 season was netted on 23rd September 2009 in the League Cup Third Round against Wolverhampton Wanderers. He then made his UEFA Champions League debut in November 2009 in a 1–0 home defeat to Beşiktaş.

In December, he signed a new contract, keeping him at Manchester United until 2013. He was loaned to Preston North End on 25 January 2010 for the remainder of the 2009–10 season. His loan was however cut short on 16 March after his knee swelled again during training and he required surgery. He was again loaned, this time to Sunderland on 12 August 2010 for the 2010–11 season. He made his debut on 14 August as a substitute for Darren Bent in a 2–2 home draw against Birmingham City and on 14th November, he scored his first goal for the club in a 3–0 away victory over Chelsea. He also scored his first home goals for Sunderland, striking twice in a 2–2 draw with Everton eight days later.

Danny Welbeck Manchester United

Welbeck was with the Premier League club three seasons: 2011–12, 2012-13, and 2013-14. He began in on 7 August 2011 by playing in the FA Community Shield match at Wembley Stadium. For his first league match of the 2011-12 Premier League season, he started alongside Wayne Rooney in an away to West Bromwich Albion and he was substituted by Dimitar Berbatov in the 65th minute.

He had quite a performance in that season leading to his nomination on the shortlist for the 2012 PFA Young Player of the Year Award, which was won by Tottenham Hotspur defender Kyle Walker.

During the 2012-13 season, Welbeck signed a new contract with Manchester United that would keep him in the club for four years on 22nd August 2012. He ended the season with two goals and 40 appearances for United. He began his 2013-14 season at United by playing in their 2–0 win over Wigan Athletic in the 2013 FA Community Shield at Wembley Stadium on 11 August. He went ahead and scored 10 goals for the club in that season.

He, however, expressed his wishes to leave United to play as a striker elsewhere after what he described as his unhappiest season. In his statement, he said, “I’ve been playing on the left for a while and it’s got to the time when I want to stake a place up front”. Welbeck then left Man U for the club’s direct rival, Arsenal, having made 142 appearances, scoring 29 goals in total.

Danny Welbeck Arsenal

Danny joined Arsenal on 2 September 2014 on a “long-term deal” for a £16 million fee. He made his debut for Arsenal on 13th September in a 2–2 draw with the previous season’s champions Manchester City at the Emirates Stadium.

He scored his first goal for the club on 20th September in a match against Aston Villa in which they beat their opponents 3-0, and also set up a goal for Mesut Özil. He scored a UEFA Champions League hat-trick—the first treble of his professional career—against Galatasaray in a 4–1 victory on 1st October.

Danny Welbeck England

He began playing for England at the age of 14 in the under-16s youth squad and made his debut in October 2005 against Wales in the Victory Shield. He moved to the next level, under-17s team, for which he scored decider in a qualifying match against Serbia, to help his team progress to the 2007 UEFA European Under-17 Championship. England finished as runners-up to Spain and secured the team a place in the 2007 FIFA U-17 World Cup in South Korea.

He also made his debut for the under-19s on 9 September 2008 in a match against the Netherlands in which England won 2–1. He also joined U 21 squad and made his debut on 10 February 2009, in the 3–2 loss to Ecuador, appearing as a substitute for Adam Johnson.

He was called up to the England senior squad on 29th March 2011, for their friendly fixture against Ghana. In the match, he replaced Ashley Young in the 81st minute of a 1–1 draw with Ghana at Wembley Stadium.

That figure is according to his own financial disclosure form submitted to the Division of Elections in June 2022. His disclosure showed that DeSantis does not own stocks, doesn’t own real estate and carries roughly $21,000 in student loans. Ron DeSantis is probably best known for serving as the governor of Florida, a position he was elected to in 2019. Prior to this, Ron represented the Florida’s 6th district in the House of Representatives.Early Life and EducationRon DeSantis was born on September 14, 1978 in Jacksonville, Florida to Ronald Sr. and Karen. As a child, he moved with his family to Orlando before settling in Dunedin. He had a younger sister named Christina who passed away in 2015. For his schooling, DeSantis went to Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School and Dunedin High School. He went on to attend Yale University, where he studied history and was captain of the varsity baseball team. After graduating magna cum laude in 2001, he spent a year teaching at the Darlington School in Rome, Georgia. DeSantis subsequently enrolled at Harvard Law School, graduating with his JD in 2005.Military ServiceWhile still attending Harvard Law, DeSantis became an officer in the US Navy. In 2005, he completed Naval Justice School; he went on to be named a lieutenant the following year. DeSantis worked for the commander of Joint Task Force-Guantanamo at Guantanamo Bay. After this, he was assigned to SEAL Team One and was deployed to Iraq. Upon his return to the US in 2008, DeSantis was assigned to the Naval Region Southeast Legal Service. He became a special assistant attorney at the US Attorney’s Office in the Middle District of Florida, working as a trial defense counsel until his military discharge in early 2010. Some in Florida cheered his policies and it’s so far unclear if he was correct or not. But, it is true that by the summer of 2021, Florida was the state with the highest per capita hospitalizations from the coronavirus. DeSantis famously banned public schools from implementing mask mandates and went on to sign into law a legislative package imposing fines on any organization requiring COVID-19 vaccinations.Ron DeSantis has also been controversial for his opposition to federal education programs, as well as for his ban on the teaching of critical race theory in Florida public schools. The couple initially lived in the upscale community of Ponte Vedra Beach before moving to Palm Coast. DeSantis and Black have three children together.
