She began her career at WXST-FM in Charleston, S.C. as a co-host for “Morning Drive.” And was named New Millennium Distinguished Women in Media in 2005. Previously, Nottingham worked as the anchor for the weekend on WDJT-TV in Milwaukee, Wis. (2005-2008) anchoring the weekend newscasts as well as acting as the main fill-in anchor for the weekday night news. She was the morning anchor for “Good Morning Charleston” on WCIV-TV, where she was awarded the Education Reporting South Carolina AP News Award.
She joined WPXI-TV in 2008 in Pittsburgh, Pa., where she was the sole anchor of the Saturday and Sunday newscasts. She also served the weekday morning and evening newscasts as a fill-in anchor. She left the station in 2011.
