Dan Snyder hired investigators to work on Tiffani Johnston’s allegations. Here’s what we know about the accusations she has placed on the Washinton Commanders owner.
Tiffani Johnston is a former cheerleader and marketing/events coordinator of Washington Commanders.
She is the founder and CEO of Hometown Heart Apparel, a clothing company.
Tiffani recently put allegations on her former boss, Daniel Snyder, of sexual misconduct. In addition to her, Melanie Coburn, Emily Applegate, Ana Nunez, Rachel Engleson, and Brad Baker also shared their experience working for Washington last week.
They want the findings from Beth Wilkinson’s investigation into Washington’s workplace culture to be public.
What Did Tiffani Johnston Accuse Dan Snyder Of?
Tiffani Johnston accused Washington Commanders’ owner Dan Snyder of sexual harassment before Congress.
She and five former employees of the NFL franchise discussed their experiences with the organization on 3 February 2022 in Capitol Hill. In August 2020, Washington Post reported the club’s offensive sexual advances against team employees. Since then, the controversy has remained.
The accusations included inappropriate comments and behind the scene lewd video creation in the 2008 cheerleader calendar shoot.
In addition to these claims, Tiffani made a new accusation stating that Dan placed his hands on her thigh in an undescribed work dinner in the proceeding at House Committee on Oversight and Reform roundtable.
She added that he tried to lure her into his limousine later that evening but was unsuccessful since his lawyer intervened, calling it a bad idea.
Jason Friedman, Washington football’s former vice president of sales and customer service, supported Tiggani’s statement with a letter to the committee. In it, he wrote about witnessing Snyder grabbing Tiffani’s arm and attempting to get her into his limousine.
However, the accused denied his participation in any new allegations and called them outright lies.
And on today, 9 February 2022, Daniel hired the Pallas Global Group consulting firm, led by former Asst. U.S. Attorneys Bonnie Jonas and Tiffany Moller. He wants them to perform an independent investigation of Tiffani’s allegations.
Tiffani Johnston Husband
Tiffani Johnston’s husband is Peter Johnston, Shoulder & Elbow Orthopaedic Surgeon (Managing Partner) at The Centers for Advanced Orthopaedics.
He is two years older than Tiffani, who is 43. Both of them celebrate their birthday in October each year.
Although the exact details of her wedding remain unknown, she celebrates the anniversary on 7 June each year. In 2020, she and her husband had their 12th one.
Tiffani lives in Breton Bay Community with her family that includes her three children, Chandler Catherine (9), Mattingly Jane (11), and Shay Christopher (7).
