Craig Breedlove Cause Of Death

Craig Breedlove reached 407.45 mph in 1963, marking his first achievement. Two years later, he was the first to achieve 600 mph. At the age of 86, the great racer passed away.

Craig Breedlove, who is now 26 years old, beat a land speed record that had been set when he was just 10 years old.

It was only the beginning in 1963 when he plowed across 11 miles of the Bonneville Salt Flats at 407 mph.

Breedlove’s talent for setting records was driven by rivalry as much as a shifting yardstick of human development.

He achieved the feat first in October 1964, going more than 500 mph.

After a year, he reached 600 mph. Breedlove allegedly died on April 4, 2023, at the age of 86.

Craig Breedlove Cause Of Death

On April 4, 2023, Craig Breedlove passed away at the age of 86. Yet, the reason for his passing has not been made public.

Breedlove’s three-wheeled turbojet-powered racecar, Spirit of America, was a speed demon. He set three records with the original model, which included a strong General Electric J47 turbojet engine.

The $250,000 vehicle proceeded to push the speed envelope up to 526 mph in 1965 before a fatal incident forced it to be replaced by the Spirit of America Sonic 1. The Sonic 1 achieved a land speed record in 1965 by reaching Breedlove’s career high speed of 600 mph, which held for five years.
