ABSTRACT
This research work examined the construction, operation, principle and designing of Audio Amplifier. There is need for increasing the power of a signal. The Audio Amplifier is made of active and passive component such as resistor, capacitor, diode, transformer, driver, JRC, wire, main boards included in this write up. It was concluded that the Audio Amplifier will help to reduce difficulties of low sound signal. Higher version of the amplifier could be constructed by using more active component such as integrated electronic Component hence this throw challenges to the “Coming Student.
CHAPTER ONE
1.1 INTRODUCTION
It is clearly observed and confirmed that scientific technology and engineer carry out research work.
They were able to come up with good and quality electrical appliance which are used by man to solve some of his various life problems.
All these component were soldered on strip board vero board. The component are powered with rectified alternating current.
1.2 AIMS AND OBJECTIVE
It has been observed that many student of physics have litonstle knowledge of electricity. Also they normally have difficulties and delay during electricity experiment due to the fact that some of the component provide not be in good condition.
This project is aimed.
– Improving the practical knowledge of people
– Reducing student difficulties in electricity experiment in the laboratory
– To improve the knowledge of science student
– To improve technology system of Nigeria
1.3 LITERATURE REVIEW OF THE PROJECT
Amplifier is a device for increasing the power of a signal. An a Amplifies is electronic amplifier in which the signal is usually a voltage or a current in audio application, Amplifier drive the loudspeaker used in P.A system to make the human voice louder or play recorded music.
It may be classifieds according to the input (source) they are designed to amplify (such as guitar amplifier to used with an electric guitar). The device they are intended to drive such as a head phone amplifier.
The quality of an amplifier can be characterized by gain, band, width, and efficiency.
The gain of an amplifier, is the ratio of amplitudes (i.e. input and output) and is usually measured in decibels (in decibels =10log (pout/pm) RF amplifier are often specified in terms of the maximum power). Amplifier input impendence will often be much higher the source B and with is the range offer frequency for which the amplifier gives satisfactory performance and it is therefore also knew as the 3dB band and the offer called frequency response.
