Canadian Sniper Wali Dead, Is It True?

None of the substantial media houses have confirmed the news on Canadian Sniper Wali’s death. Hence, the rumor seems to be invalid.

At the same time, there were missile attacks on the Yavoriv region, where Wali was believed to be stationed before his deployment.

Wali has asked to be known by the codename he was given in Afghanistan if former KGB strongman Putin discovers his true identity and tries to assassinate his Quebec family.

Wali spent Saturday hunkered down in an abandoned building overlooking what he will only refer to as a “strategic place” on the outskirts of Kyiv.

He is fighting for Ukraine while his loved ones gather to celebrate his son’s first birthday.

When the war broke out, the 40-year-old worked as a computer programmer.

He quit his work and his family to join the International Legion of Ukraine’s Territorial Defense.

The sniper’s true identity is unknown, although he is known as “Wali,” which means “guardian” in Arabic.

Wali’s death news has spread on Twitter, and some say it is Chinese propaganda to spread the rumor.

Wali is a 40-year-old Canadian Sniper, and his real name is kept secrete.

According to The Independent, Wali served in Kandahar with the Royal Canadian Infantry’s 22nd Regiment between 2009 and 2011.

In 2015, he also reportedly volunteered to fight the Islamic State in Iraq alongside Kurdish forces.

According to rumors, the sniper can kill 40 people in a single day. A sharpshooter makes five to six kills every day on average.

Wali holds the record for the longest confirmed kill in June 2017.

He used a McMillan Tac-50 rifle to shoot down an IS fighter from a distance of 3.5 kilometers in Mosul, Iraq.

According to Ukraine, around 20,000 volunteers from 52 nations have signed up to join the multinational legion.

These foreign combatants can put on the Ukrainian uniform and apply for citizenship.

This ensures that if Russian forces arrest them, they will be treated according to the Geneva Conventions.
