Gordon Henderson, a commander in the Royal Air Force, is thought to have perished in Pakistan after going missing while on an expedition.
According to information from Dunfermline, Gordon vanished on July 19 while taking part in a mountaineering adventure with the British Services on Broad Peak Mountain.
As per the report from the RAF on Tuesday, the Wing Commander is reportedly dead.

Gordon is killed on Pakistan’s Broad Peak Mountain. His autopsy, however, has yet to be made public. The Commander’s death has been announced on the Royal Air Force’s official Facebook page.
In the post, the Royal Air Force said, “The Royal Air Force is deeply saddened to announce that Wing Commander Gordon Henderson is Missing, believed to have been killed on Broad Peak Mountain in Pakistan.”
