Collin Morikawa has made it clear that he will remain on the PGA Tour despite LIV Golf rumors.
The Golfer came to Twitter on Tuesday morning to restate his stance that he will not leave the PGA Tour, despite the rumors.
Morikawa is a PGA Tour and European Tour professional golfer from the United States. He began his PGA Tour career with a streak of 22 consecutive cuts, second only to Tiger Woods’ 25.
Similarly, Colin has five PGA Tour victories, with two majors, the 2020 PGA Championship and a 2021 Open Championship. Surprisingly, he won both on his first try.
Previously, Collin was the top-ranked golfer in the World Amateur Golf Ranking for three weeks in May 2018. Later, he was also the first American to win the European Tour’s Race to Dubai.
No, Collin Morikawa Is Not Leaving PGA Tour For LIV Golf
Collin Morikawa will not join the list of PGA Tour golfers who have switched to LIV Golf. Morikawa’s agent, Andrew Kipper, told Golf Digest’s Dan Rapaport, “The rumors concerning Collin are totally incorrect.”
According to Jeff Kimber of Golf Monthly, a group of golfers, including Morikawa, was mulling a transfer to LIV last week.
One of the names on that list, Brooks Koepka, became the newest defector on Tuesday, according to ESPN’s Mark Schlabach.
Abraham Ancer is rumored to be joining the nascent golf circuit. LIV Golf has signed a number of high-profile players who have been promised large salaries and early signing bonuses.
Some of the sport’s biggest names, including Dustin Johnson, Phil Mickelson, and Bryson DeChambeau, have defected, suffering a PGA Tour ban as a result.

Moreover, talking about his contract, earlier this year, he also struck a sponsorship agreement with US Bank.
After rumors of a switch to the Saudi-backed LIV Golf Invitational Series, Morikawa has decided to stay on the PGA Tour.
Following last week’s US Open, rumors circulated that the two-time major winner would be one of the next signings for the rebel circuit.
However, with Brooks Koepka and Abraham Ancer said to have signed for Greg Norman’s breakaway tour, the 25-year-old took to Twitter to deny the rumors and reassert his commitment to the PGA Tour.
Collin Morikawa Net Worth 2022: How Rich Is He?
Collin Morikawa is on his way to becoming World Little. 1, but with a $1500 per shot golf swing, it’s no surprise the 24-year-old is already a two-time major champion.
For many years, Morikawa has been one of the most accomplished golfers in the world, as his net worth is reportedly around $7 million.
Morikawa was obviously going to do well financially after graduating from Berkley with a degree in business.
However, it is reasonable to say he has acquired a fortune greater than any of his peers. When each shot is worth $1488, it’s no surprise that the American is known for his flawless iron play.
Every time Morikawa has teed it up in an event, he has made around $400,000. That works out to $103,000 every round.
