Cole Pensick Cause Of Death

Following a horrific vehicle accident in Nebraska’s eastern part, Cole Pensick, a former offensive lineman for the Nebraska Huskers, passed suddenly.

According to the Omaha World-Herald, Pensick ran a stop sign at a T-intersection in Polk County early on Saturday morning at 6:45 a.m., which is when the accident happened. About 14 miles (24.14 kilometers) southwest of Columbus, his pickup truck ran off the road and smashed into some trees.

At the scene of the collision, Pensick was declared deceased, according to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office. He was 32 years old.

Pensick was an integral part of the offensive line that helped the Huskers become one of the top rushing teams in the Big Ten during his final year at Nebraska in 2013. He was selected by the coaches to the Big Ten second team despite having a knee ailment that year.

After leaving Nebraska in December 2012 with an agriculture degree, Pensick continued his education by taking two months of graduate-level coursework while still participating in football.

This is a devastating loss for the Nebraska football community, and during this trying time, our sympathies are with Pensick’s family and loved ones.
