And almost a decade later, their stardom has skyrocketed with the recent launch of their television show, Down Home Fab. Their show debuted on January 16, 2023, on HGTV.
Down Home Fab featured the couple navigating the most challenging page of their lives -to design, create, and build a business, taking on client renovations.
And while DeBoer, his beautiful wife, and adorable kids are no strangers to the entertainment industry, only a few people know about his beloved parents, Bret and Jennifer.

Houska remembered, “He was across at the other pump,” as she talked about their first meeting to US Magazine. They both looked at each other but didn’t talk.
She rushed home to her friend and explained she saw a guy she was going to marry at the gas station. Fortunately, a few days later, DeBoer contacted her on social media and she was like, “Thank you, Jesus.”
They got engaged in 2015
After a year of dating, DeBoer moved in with Chelsea and her daughter. The special moment finally came in November 2015, when the trainer got down on one knee in the woods after receiving a green signal from Aubree.
He asked her daughter if it was okay if he married her mom, Houska told MTV at the time. The delighted bride-to-be didn’t waste any time saying yes and gave him a big hug.

While Chelsea led most of the creative and designing work, her husband handled the physical work.
After completing their dream home, the pair realized they could continue pursuing their passion while helping others do the same. They soon launched their own series, Down Home Fab, on HGTV.
Through the inspirational show, they hope to influence couples willing to build something special from the team-up.
