Coach K Children: Meet Mike Krzyzewski’s Children Debbie Savarino, Jamie Spatola, And Lindy Frasher

Coach K, whose full name is Michael William Krzyzewski, is a former American basketball player and the current head coach of Duke University. On the day of his graduation from West Point in 1969, he married Carol “Mickie” Marsh in the Catholic chapel. Debbie Savarino, Lindy Frasher, and Jamie Spatola are the couple’s three daughters.

Debbie, Michael’s oldest daughter, is the oldest of the three. She was recovering from a stroke when we last heard from her. A vertebral artery dissection caused her stroke. Aside from that, she and her husband, Peter Savarino, are currently enjoying their marriage. Joey Savarino and Michael Giovanni Savarino are the couple’s two boys, and Emmie Savarino and Carly Savarino are their two daughters.

Mike Krzyzewski’s daughter Lindy Frasher graduated from Wake Forest University with a B.S. in psychology and minors in Spanish and theater. Later she joined Pepperdine University and earned herself a master’s degree in clinical psychology.

The youngest of Mike Krzyzewski’s daughter Jamie Spatola graduated from Duke in 2004 with a degree in English. She also owns an MBA degree from Cameron University and another masters’ degree in Liberal Studies from Duke. To date, she has co-authored two books with her beloved father, Mike, The Gold Standard, and Beyond Basketball.
