A piece of fake news has been circulating all over social media regarding the execution of CNN Afganisthan journalist Bernie Gores. People are believing this and already posting condolence messages for him.
However, the news was a manipulated screenshot posted by CNN during the Afghanistan war. He was executed by the Taliban on August 2021 and all the unverified Twitter accounts have come out with the fabricated tweet.
Now, CNN confirms that the piece has no truth and is falsified by the unverified sources on the internet. The journalist has not been executed in Ukraine and it is just another clickbait that has been put out to gain attention by the groundless mushroom Twitter pages.
Bernie Gores Is Not Dead In Ukraine
As per social media, Bernie Gores was the first American casualty in the crisis of Ukraine. The logic put forward in the viral tweet says CNN is the enemy of people and he got killed just because works for it.
Nevertheless, Gores is not dead and seems fine despite the alleged news flowing all over the web. A verified source of CNN, Matt Dornic, calls those stories and handles completely bogus. he is also head of strategic communications and claims that CNN has never come out to tweet it.
