Claire Holland Missing Case Update

In the Claire Holland missing case, the police have arrested a 40-year-old man as a murder suspect on 24 March 2022.

People last saw her leaving Seamus O’Donnell’s pub in St Nicholas Street at about 23:25 BST on 6 June 2012. On Thursday, Avon and Somerset Police took a man into custody. They had arrested him in 2019 but released him after an investigation.

It is another breakthrough in the case after a police operation in November of last year. The investigators renewed the case and searched several locations with police divers.

Whatsmore, they also released the CCTV clip of Clarie’s last day when people saw her alive. It shows her walking along Baldwin Street, heading towards Seamus O’Donnell’s pub at around 21:30 BST. But, the footage doesn’t show the place she went afterward.

According to the pub staff, she left the building after closing time, at about 11:15 p.m. There was the possibility of her heading towards the Fountains (near the Harbourside). However, the police couldn’t find her even after reviewing thousands of hours of CCTV footage.

Moreover, Claire had no reason to go missing and had plans for the upcoming week.
