Chris Tomlin Children: Ashlyn, Madison and Elle Grace Tomlin

Chris Tomlin family is a huge believer in god and Christianity. Chris is the the eldest child of three for his parents Connie Tomlin and Donna Tomlin.

Tomlin’s father Connie gave him his first-ever guitar lesson in his life and helped him learn how to play along with the Willie Nelson records. Connie loved music and he was the reason his son started to grow an affinity for it as well.

When Chris was nine, Connie took him to the Southern Gospel concert, which was near their house. It was this concert that inspired him to be a Christian musician and a devout Christian in the first place as he decided to get baptized right after the concert on a Sunday.

Chirs also credits his mother Donna for making him who he is today. Wishing her on the occasion of Mother’s day in 2018 across his social media platforms, he mentioned that he owes so much to her for being who he is and that she has always been by her side.

Tomlin also stated how much he loved her. Again, in 2020, he expressed how thankful he was for his mom during the special occasion. Both Connie and Donna have been a huge part in his life and have played a crucial role in making their son a great Christian devout and worship leader as they raised him with religious values and manners.

Chris Tomlin also has two siblings named Cory Tomlin and Ryan Tomlin. Both Cory and Ryan are married and coincidentally, both of their wives are nurses.

Although both of Chris’s younger brothers have biological children of their own, they decided to adopt children, who they had looked after as foster parents.

Chris was moved by the amazing gestures shown by his siblings and even contemplates probably following their footsteps later in his life.

Chris Tomlin wife Lauren Bricken is a fashion entrepreneur. Bricken has been working as a makeup artist since July 2008 as per her Linkedin profile. She is an alumna of Auburn University.

Born to parents Reese Bricken and Sandy Bricken in Texas, she grew up in Atlanta, Georgia. Reese had attended Auburn University for his college, and his daughter followed suit.

She was in college from 1999 to 2003. Lauren started working as a women’s coordinator in July 2006 at Adventures of the Heart, a Christian Ministry which works in spreading god’s word and faith to other people who need it.

Lauren is still with the organization, which was founded and operated by her parents, and has been an active participant in the organization for the past sixteen years and nine months.

Apart from her involvement with the ministry, she also works as a makeup artist which she has been doing for the past fourteen years and nine months.

Chris Met Lauren In Atlanta

Chris Tomlin was a member of the Austin Stone Community Church. But in 2008 he announced that he would be moving to Atlanta, Georgia in order to start a new church.

He had the plan to build a new church called “The Passion City Church,” in collaboration with pastor Louie Giglio. They made the church and it has been operational since February 2009.

Tomlin is one of the worship leaders in the church. It was when he moved to Atlanta, one of his friends who was a mutual friend for both him and Lauren had the two meet up.

However, their friend had mentioned they would have a lot of fun together but doubted that they will last long. As their friend had suggested, they dated for a while but abruptly ended their relationship.

When Chris tried to get back to her, she was stern and stated that she was already over him. However, with his persistence, the two got together after a year. Both Chris and Lauren are devout Christians, which no doubt helped in their relationship.

The Two Got Engaged In Guatemala

Chris had tricked Lauren into thinking that they were traveling to Guatemala for a performance at the request of the President of Guatemala.

However, when they reached their destination, he booked a hotel in Antigua, which is near Guatemala. Tomlin had decorated a backroom and set it up for the occasion. When they reached there, Lauren was shocked and Chris put forward the proposal.

Of course, she said yes and the couple soon tied the knot on November 9, 2010, as Chris realized that Lauren was the one for him.

Two of three of Lauren Bricken daughters with Chris Tomlin are into their dad’s music and love to jam to his hits. 

The adorable couple bought a 25-acre of land and the house along with it in Franklin, which is just a little south of Nashville. Chris and his crew of four like to call their home “Peacefield.”

Their youngest child was born after they started living in Tennessee, moving from Atlanta.

Ashlyn Tomlin

Of the three daughters Chris and Lauren share, Ashlyn is the oldest of all. She recently celebrated her 11th birthday on September 22, 2022.

Chris shared an Instagram post wishing his eldest child a happy birthday and mentioned that she changed his and Lauren’s life when she entered into their world 11 years ago.

Madison Tomlin

Madison Tomlin was born on October 6, 2014. Currently, at eight years of age, Madison loves participating in outdoor and recreational activities with her dad.

She has gone horse riding, boating, and fishing with her father accompanying her among other activities. On the occasion of her eighth born day, her dad wished her with a sweet message, claiming his daughter to be a brave individual and open to trying anything exciting and interesting.

Ashlyn and Madi love singing their father’s songs together and they do it with Chris himself during Christmas time.

Elle Grace Tomlin

Chris and Lauren’s youngest child and daughter Elle Grace Tomlin were born on December 14, 2020, on a Monday. Born in Nashville, she came to the world after her parents resettled to Tennessee.

Three days after her birth, Chris shared an exclusive picture of his daughter via his social media and mentioned how grateful he and his wife were to receive such a precious and beautiful gift into their lives.
