Chris Cimino Net Worth, Income, Salary, Earnings, Biography

Currently, Chris Cimino works as the meteorologist for WNBC television’s early-morning news show, Today in New York, based in New York City, New York. He is also a replacement meteorologist for the NBC television network’s Today programme. From WTXF-TV in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where he had worked as the weekend meteorologist since January 1995, he came to work for WNBC in December 1995.

A meteorologist in the Cincinnati, Ohio, television market, as well as on the radio with Compu-Weather and Metro Weather Service, as well as WROC-TV in Rochester, New York, before Cimino’s current position as meteorologist. On September 20, 2004, Cimino was involved in an incident in which he was required to deliver a weather report while dressed as a member of the New York Yankees baseball team (which he did) (he is a lifelong New York Mets baseball fan).

The inspiration for the concept originated when Cimino lost a bet to his eleven-year-old neighbour, in which the Mets were required to win at least seventy-five games; the Mets were unable to win the wager. As the storey came to a close, Cimino’s colleague, sportscaster Otis Livingston, interrupted and “beating up” Cimino while costumed as the Mr. Met mascot. While filling in for Al Roker on the Today Show, he says, “That was the look of the National Weather, now here is your Local Forecast,” before transitioning to the local weather report. Cimino is an inhabitant of East Brunswick Township, which is located in northern New Jersey.
