He continued to explain that that Sunday, he was scheduled to be at a different location—as the church had two locations, but he switched at the last minute to serve at the location she attended. That morning, he changed his outfit, which he had selected the night before, and he never does that. In fact, that outfit just so happened to be the outfit that was described in the dream so when she saw him “she freaked out.” “We bumped into each other’s hallway and the rest is history,” Blue narrates.

The couple, both of who kept in touch with Skype calls, FaceTime, and texts, had planned their wedding from afar. So after Blue was crowned the winner of The Voice season finale, he stated he wanted to use his $100, 000 USD winnings to give his soon-to-be wife the wedding “she deserves”. Speaking of his career, Blue’s passion for singing started when he was 3 years old and began preaching at Peace and Goodwill Missionary Baptist Church in Knoxville, Tennessee, and was ordained at the age of 15. He went on to become a worship leader in the Cokesbury United Methodist Church.
