Chinedu said in an interview with his fans that he began his career as a dancer for another musician, Gozie Okeke. While working as a dancer, he discovered his inner singing potential and chose to pursue a career as a full-time Gospel Singer. Along with music, he began to be signed for acting roles.

Prior to his death, he was a staunch supporter of Mr. Uba during the recent Anambra governorship race.
