Chelsie only missed season 13 since she joined in season 8 of the Dancing with stars competition show. Chelsie had the dancing passion since she was a child and started dancing at 9 and at the age of 14, she had received conventional training. She won her first professional title at the age of eleven and has also appeared on the US world finals in 2005 completing on Team USA during the British Opens in Blackpool, England.

Chelsie first appeared on So You Think You Can Dance at the age of eighteen in its fourth season. SYTYCD is an American dance competition show on Fox USA. It was founded by the American idol producers Simon Fullers and Nigel Lythgoe. She is best known for partnering Mark Kanemura performing Bleeding Love and with Joshua Allen performing A Los Amigos. She was eliminated from the show on July 31, 2008, after making it to the top six. Chelsie returned in season 8 as an All-star and season 10 as a choreographer and All-star.
