Charlie was spotted by a production manager of the Newcastle-based children’s show, Byker Grove. The production manager gave him the opportunity to play the character of Jason for three episodes in Byker Grove. After this, he got himself in the Britisj-made teen series, Microsoap. It was this movie that land major roles in the movie industry.
