Characteristics of a broken person

there may be swelling, bruising or tenderness around the injured area. you may feel pain when you put weight on the injury, touch it, press it, or move it. the injured part may look deformed – in severe breaks, the broken bone may be poking through the skin.

When we talk about a broken man, we are talking about a man that has either been emotionally damaged or had their heartbroken. It doesn’t always necessarily mean that a woman in a romantic relationship has caused him emotional pain, although that is the most obvious explanation, anyone could have caused it.

Definition of a broken woman: A woman who has deposited more in others than herself. She has depleted her heart, mind and spirit. You’ve seen her before the woman who is broken. She given in and given up. Your not exactly sure what brought her to this place of being Distance, Withdrawn, Angry, Sad & Bitter.

Given the above disclaimer, the most likely reason that you attract and are attracted to “damaged” women is because you are fearful of rejection. Consequently, you prefer “easier targets” that you imagine will be less critical of any shortcomings that may become apparent in you.

We attract the ones whose pieces are all over the place and for some reason we feel reliable to help put those pieces back together. We put our happiness into this person and while we may think we are happy within ourselves when that relationship ends we feel broken inside, like we’ve lost our source of happiness.

While one has all the right to be loved despite not being able to love oneself, there is a reason that women with a “broken,” sad streak to their personality, attract more men than self-confident, cheerful girls. You see, men first feel pity for the sad girl, but this is not a bad feeling for them.
