Requirements
- This Visa type is issued to foreigners traveling to Chad for the purpose of leisure and tourism.
- The Tourist Visa can also serve as a Visitor Visa. You are allowed to visit a friend or relation currently living in Chad.
- Documents which can prove your relationship with your host in Chad should be provided during the visa application.
- Your host must provide a letter of invitation which will be submitted with other documents during the visa application.
- Foreigners who currently occupy a position in a company in Chad are required to provide their original letter of employment. The letter must contain the approved leave dates of the applicant.
- Taking up paid or unpaid employment during your time in Chad is considered as illegal work. This visa does not allow that.
- Applicants who are under the age of 18 years are required to be in possession of a notarized consent which carries the signature of both their parents.

- Instead of providing physical passport photos, you can upload the photograph when filling the visa application form.
- You cannot take up part-time or full-time courses in an academic institution in the country on this visa.
