Camilo Sesto was a Spanish singer, songwriter, producer and composer. He especially specialized in Latin ballads, Latin pop, and synthpop and created many hit songs from the 1970s to 2000s. Also, by the 1980s, he had set the record for two daily performances for 20 consecutive days at Madison Square Garden. For his dedication and successes, he was inducted into the Latin Songwriters Hall of Fame.
Also, he was dragged into a rumor in 2011 of his other Sesto ‘farewell tour’ where tickets were sold out and tour dates supposedly made. However, he later found out and announced that it was nothing more than a hoax that he was also unaware of. Unfortunately, the singer died at the age of 72 on September 8, 2019 in a Madrid hospital due to kidney failure.
