Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to
apply for a Bulgarian Visa.
- A valid international passport.
- An application form.
- One passport-size photo with white background.
- Return ticket or documentation for the next destination.

Requirements
- Bulgarian tourist visa is a short-stay visa that will allow Algerians into Bulgaria for holiday, relaxation, sightseeing, or to stay for a period of 90 days or 3 months.
- This visa is issued to Algerian nationals at the fee of 7,950.15 Algerian Dinar.
- Algerians travelling on this visa are not required to apply for either paid or unpaid work in the country.
- Single-entry visas for tourist visits are normally valid for three months from date of issue for a maximum stay of 30 days.
- Algerian nationals are expected to leave Bulgaria at or before the expiration of their visas.
- Algerian nationals are to be aware that the type of currency used in Bulgaria is the lev (лев). Its symbol is лв., which is placed after the number, not before it; unlike $, £, or ¥ that is placed before the number.
- People visiting Bulgaria have to know that Bulgaria’s coins are called stotinki. One lev consists of 100 stotinki.
- Algerian nationals are to note that although Bulgaria is a part of the Europian Union States, it does not welcome people travelling on a Schengen visa.
- Visa application forms are submitted not earlier than 3 months before the date of the intended travel, personally or through an authorized agent, with the exception of humanitarian cases.

Requirements
- The Bulgarian Business Visa is for those visiting the country for business purposes.
- There are two types of Bulgarian Business Visa which are Type C and Type D Business Visa.
- Type C Bulgarian Business Visa is known as Short-stay Bulgarian Business Visa, while Tthe Type D Business Visa is called Type D Business Visa.
- An Algeria national may obtain a Bulgarian Business visa on the ground of registering a limited company, branch or trade representative office in Bulgaria.
- Visa eligibility requires the preparation of a business invitation letter.
- The short-stay Bulgarian Business visa is a multiple-entry visa allowing a stay of 90 days in Bulgaria.
- The visa processing time is up to 10 working days and a visa application fee of €60 is payable for a Short Stay.
- The long-term Bulgarian Business visa is granted either for 6 or 12 months, and it is mandatory for all Algerian nationals who would like to apply for a Bulgarian residence permit.
- The visa processing time is 30 working days and a visa application fee of €100 is payable.
- Visa application forms are submitted not earlier than 3 months before the date of the intended travel, personally or through an authorized agent, with the exception of humanitarian cases.
- Obligatory personal interview when applying for a type “D” visa will be conducted to Algerian applying for this long-term Bulgarian Business visa.
