Brodie Van Wagenen is an American sports executive also known as the former general manager of the Major League Baseball New York Mets. The sports executive started his career right out of college. He worked for the Chicago Bulls selling tickets and endorsement deals. Additionally, Wagenen also worked at Creative Artists Agency. In his professional career, he also served as co-director of the CAA Sports baseball division. In his college days, Wagenen was the right fielder for the Stanford Cardinal baseball team. He actively played on the baseball team as a freshman and sophomore in 1993 and 1994 respectively. However, after he dislocated his shoulder while throwing. In the game, he scored just 24 at-bats in his last two seasons at Stanford.
In 2016, Wagenen worked as Tim Tebow’s baseball agent. Tebow is a former Heisman Trophy winner and NFL quarterback who transitioned from football to baseball.
