American actor and film producer, William Bradley “Brad” Pitt has an estimated net worth of $240 million. With looks that have inspired countless People magazine covers, Internet shrines, and paparazzi blitzkreigs, Brad Pitt is an actor whose very name inspires drooling platitudes, more about male beauty than about acting.
Following his breakthrough as the wickedly charming drifter who seduces Geena Davis and then robs her blind in Thelma & Louise (1991), Pitt became one of Hollywood’s hottest properties and spent most of the 1990s being lauded as everything from Robert Redford’s heir apparent to the Sexiest Man Alive.
Brad Pitt has become as active a producer as he is an actor. His company, Plan B, was behind 2010 movies, Kick-Ass and Eat, Pray, Love, which starred Julia Roberts. He is also best remembered for 2009 film Inglourious Basterds (which earned a healthy $320 million at the global box office). He is also a voice actor and worked behind do-gooder Metro Man in DreamWorks Animation’s Megamind opposite Will Ferrell.
Born William Bradley Pitt on December 18, 1963 in Shawnee, Oklahoma, United States. He has been married and divorced twice – with actresses Jennifer Aniston (2000-2005) and Angelina Jolie (2014-2016), with whom he has six children. He and Jolie had a private wedding ceremony on August 23, 2014 in Château Miraval, France. Pitt supports the ONE Campaign, an organization aimed at combating AIDS and poverty in the developing world.
