Bobby Berk From The Wheel NBC Shared About His Brother And Family

The Wheel contestant Bobby Berk calls Scott Hoying his baby brother. Bobby and Scott have a beautiful bond and share a close relationship.

Bobby Berk is an author, interior designer, and television personality with an Emmy. He plays the interior design guru in the Netflix series Queer Eye.

Berk’s career began to rise after he relocated to New York City in 2003. Before going to Portico, a high-end home furnishings firm, he worked at Restoration Hardware and Bed, Bath, and Beyond. The 41-year-old worked up to the creative director without formal education or high school graduation.

Since 2018, he has served as the show’s design expert on the Netflix series Queer Eye. Also, Taylor Swift’s “You Need to Calm Down” music video featured Berk.

Moreover, Berk owns a wallpaper, furniture, and artwork brand and operates an interior design Company. He has had his share of struggles during his youth.

When Bobby was fifteen years old, he moved out of his home. He arrived in Springfield, Missouri, and started working at an Applebee’s restaurant near Branson while sleeping in his car or staying with friends.

As a sophomore who commuted to school by car, the TV personality spent his junior year at Kickapoo High School. He then worked for MCI Communications as a telemarketing.

Is Bobby Berk Brother Scott Hoying?

Bobby Berk addresses American musician Scott Hoying as his baby brother. Via his Instagram handle, Bobby wished Scott his 30th birthday on September 17, 2021.

Further, the TV personality mentions that he and Scott were separated at birth. However, Scott’s bio does not suggest that Bobby is his biological sibling. Despite their mothers sharing the same first name Connie, they are brothers by bond rather than by blood.

Born in Arlington, Texas, Scott is a renowned American singer. He came into prominence as the baritone of the Cappella group Pentatonix and one-half of the music duo named Superfruit.

As the first Cappella group to achieve mainstream success, Pentatonix has published 11 albums (two of which have reached number one), two EPs, had four singles in the Billboard Hot 100, and won three Grammy Awards.

Meet Bobby Adoptive Parents Jerry And Connie Berk

Bobby was adopted by his parents Jerry Berk and Connie Berk. As thanks for their kind gesture, Berk surprised his adoptive parents with a new home in the year 2020.

The Queer Eye star used his interior design skills to update the home in Missouri, where his parents have been residing for a few years.

He spent his childhood in Mount Vernon, Missouri, with Jerry and Connie. Therefore, he decided to give his father and mother a new look at their old farmhouse.

According to Bobby, his mother had wanted a new kitchen for a long time. Consequently, he partnered with Target and updated almost all the rooms in the house. The redecoration covered the living room, kitchen, master bedroom, and guest room.

The makeover took him almost two months. However, the furnishing and the final result were worth the wait. His mom was super excited to see the entire setup. Berk shared that he had never seen his dad cry in front of him before the day he was gifted the new home.
