Bob Diaco wife Julia Diaco married the Louisiana State University analyst in 1994. Bob and Julia raised three children in the family.
Bob is the New Jersey Generals’ defensive line coach in the United States Football League. Diaco has been with the team since the 2022 season.
He started his coaching career with the Iowa Hawkeyes football in 1996. He has changed multiple teams for two decades, attending Notre Dame in 2010, the University of Connecticut in 2014, and the Purdue Boilermakers in 2020.
As a former player for the Iowa Hawkeyes, he played in the Linebacker position. He played from 1992 to 1995.
As the head coach, Bob has an overall record of 11-26 and received the Broyles Award in 2012.

Bob Diaco had his wedding with his life partner Julia Diaco in 1994.
Julia has been a great cheerleader for her husband’s coaching career. She attended his first press conference as the Connecticut coach on December 12, 2013.
The couple held the UConn Jersey with their household at the Shenkman Training Center, Storrs. It was a proud moment for both Julia and Bob.
The couple lives in Englewood, Florida. Due to Bob’s changing jobs for different colleges, he admitted to The Athletic in 2018 about how it was challenging to manage time for his spouse and other members.

Bob and Julia donated 250,000 dollars to upgrade the University of Connecticut’s facilities.
In June 2016, Diaco stated how the Mark R. Shenkman Training Center and Burton Family Football Complex were like a home to him. He also wanted his students to train at the best facility.
The University launched a 25 million dollar campaign from private donors to rebuild their sports complexes. Bob and Julia had made large donations for this campaign. UConn’s Athletics Director, David Benedict, also added that his donations symbolized Bob’s clear vision for the Huskies.
Jen McIntyre, the former UConn softball head coach, also reacted to the couple’s charity by expressing her gratefulness on Twitter.
Bob Diaco Family Members
Bob has two sons, Michael and Angelo Diaco, and a daughter Josephine Diaco.
Micahel and Josephine have grown up today and are pursuing their separate careers. They have also been living in different locations because of their employment.
Moreover, the three children were also present during Bob’s announcement to the UConn Huskies in December 2013, proudly holding their dad’s jersey.
The Diaco family also proudly shares an Italian heritage with their parents.
Josephine Diaco works at Aeffe Footwear
Bob Diaco daughter Josephine Diaco is a Wholesale Coordinator for the Aeffe Footwear brand.
Per her LinkedIn, She has been working there since June 2022, and her office is in the New York Metropolitan Area.
From May 2022 to July 2022, Josephine was an Account Management Intern at the BBDO Atlanta firm. Before that, she worked as a Sales Intern at the Verso Ministries Indiana. She was embedded there for one year.
Josephine’s early career
Josephine is a former communication manager for the American International Club of Rome.
During her fall college semester, she worked in this organization and learned website creation and social media content creation. She worked for Rome’s office but did her duties through remote work.
In June 2018, Josephine began her professional career as Retail Sales Associate for Barefoot Traders.
Josephine studied at the University of Notre Dame’s Mendoza College of Business. She graduated from the college with a marketing degree in 2022.
Furthermore, she attended Lincoln East High School and completed her studies in June 2018. She also participated in Soccer and Indoor Track at her school.
Angelo Diaco Studied Music
Bob Diaco son Angelo Diaco studied music at the University of Tampa.
With his interest in music, he has made a Soundcloud account and has featured his nine tracks there. He has yet to release an album.
Angelo’s popular tracks on Soundcloud are ‘Thunder On The Coast’ and ‘The Blower’s Daughter.’ His songs were recorded in Warehouse Productions from 2017 to 2018.
With another studio, Massive Productions, he recorded his solo track, ‘Empty Chairs At Empty Tables’ in 2015. He has also done live shows in bars and restaurants. On 8th July, he promoted his gig on Beach Road Wine Bar & Bistro via Facebook.
Alongside his musical career, Angelo pursued an MBA at the University of Miami. His schooling got completed at Glastonbury High School. He currently lives in Englewood, Florida.
