Banky W began his singing career at age 8, when he was singing in his church choir. On completing his Secondary School Education, Banky W got a scholarship to study at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, New York, USA where he bagged a degree in Engineering.
Banky W, while in college, won the Albany Idol competition and this brought him to the fore in his music career. Banky W later established the Empire Mates Entertainment(E.M.E.) in order to project his music more.
