In one of the podcast interviews, Haruna Soemitro criticized Shin Tae-young, the national coach for Indonesian Football. 

Haruna Soemitro criticized national team coach Shin Tae-Yong saying his inability to coach failed national football team from winning the 2020 AFF Cup.

In the 2020 AFF Cup final, Indonesia came second by losing Thailand, and this was the sixth time that the Indonesian national football team could get win the final of the AFF Cup.

This was the reason why Haruna Soemitro openly criticized the national football team coach Shin Tae-Yong for his ability towards professionalism.
