Bill O’Brien Salary: How much does Bill O’Brien make?

Bill O’Brien, a former coach of the Houston Texans, is joining the NFL once more.

The New England Patriots formally confirmed on Thursday that the Alabama offensive coordinator would accept the same position with the franchise.

After being let go by the Texans in October 2020, O’Brien has been the play-caller for the Crimson Tide for the last two seasons.

O’Brien’s second term with the Patriots will be this one. Between 2007 and 2011, he served as an assistant coach for the team, progressing from offensive analyst to offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach before taking the helm at Penn State.

After its post-Josh McDaniels experiment failed this past season, New England was in need of an offensive coordinator.

Bill Belichick, the head coach of the New England Patriots, didn’t immediately succeed McDaniels after the longtime offensive coordinator left New England to lead the Las Vegas Raiders.
