Lydia Minevitch is best known as the second wife of Bert Fields, fashion model and the daughter of Borrah Minev. Borrah Minevitch was a well-known harmonica player, actor, and group leader of The Harmonica Rascals.Lydia Minevitch died of lung cancer in 1986, after 27 years of marriage.
Bert Fields on the other hand was a well-known American lawyer who specialized in entertainment law. He represented many of the major film studios, as well as a number of celebrities, and lectured at Stanford and Harvard Law Schools. Fields was also a musician and a writer of fiction and nonfiction books.
Bert Fields met his third wife, art expert Barbara Guggenheim, after she hired him to defend her against Sylvester Stallone’s lawsuit in 1989; they married in 1991.Fields died on August 7, 2022, at the age of 93, at his home in Malibu, California, of complications from long-COVID-19.
