28-year-old Brandon was detained on Thursday.

The nurse reportedly called 911 and told police that a young boy had been taken to an emergency room with potential abuse.
According to the affidavit, medical staff reported to police after noticing bruising at various stages of the child’s body healing.
During the investigation, police allegedly received photos and videos from family mobile phones.

A video of a cell phone confiscated by a San Antonio police report showed that the hungry Benjamin was “smashing his hands on his head and asking for bread.”
Benjamin was crying and begging for bread and water in one clip, but Cerbera and another relative rejected his request.
The footage also revealed that the child was forced to “eat bread crumbs from the bathroom floor without using his hands.”
Benjamin was also shown in the photo with the eyes of “terrible bruise and swelling.”

However, Cervera was detained on Thursday and is currently in prison in Bexar County Jail.
