Benjamin Geza Affleck-Bodt is an American actor, film director, producer, screenwriter and philanthropist. He was born on August 15, 1972, in Berkeley, California, the US to Christopher Anne Boldt and Timothy Byers Affleck.
Affleck attended Cambridge Rindge and Latin High School. He was an unfocused student with poor attendance. He spent a few months studying Spanish at the University of Vermont. He then moved to Los Angeles and studied Middle Eastern affairs at the Occidental College.
Affleck started his professional career since childhood. He first appeared in a movie titled, The Dark End of the Street. His biggest success as a child was as the star of the PBS Children series, The Voyage of the Mimi. After starring in many movies during his childhood, Affleck’s growing reputation as a filmmaker landed him the role of Batman in the 2016 film, Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice.
In 2021, Affleck will star opposite Ana de Armas in Adrian Lyne’s thriller Deep Water, an adaptation of Patricia Highsmith’s novel
